This animated series depicts Glooscap during his childhood where he, his mischievous twin brother and other future heroes go on exciting adventures guided by Meme Muwin. Together they solve problems and learn important lessons along the way!

This story is told by Deborah Audibert an Elder of the Tobique First Nation and animated by Tara Audibert. The story is of her own experiences and is passed down verbally, changing over time and retold again and again. This is the English version of a short Wolastoqey story told by my great aunt Carole Polchies from Woodstock First Nation for the app Nitap: Legends of the First Nations. My aunt and many young children were told that the Doctor brought the babies as opposed to explaining the birds and the bees during the time when home births were the norm. This is a funny short story my aunt told about her experience with this myth. Kahkahkuhs naka Witapil is a story about a boy who found an injured crow, bandaged it's leg, and the crow lived among the Wolastoqiyik people in the community. The crow was a pest as it couldn't hunt for itself it would go to houses for food. This is a funny story of what happened one day when the crow came inside Carole's house. And another part where the boy had to cut down a diseased tree that the crow lived in. Wolastoqiyik story told by Carole Polchies from Woodstock First Nation, New Brunswick. English translation by her niece Deborah Audibert of Tobique First Nation and Directed by her Daughter Tara Audibert. Kehtaqs is the story of The Cackling Ghost, heard by many people of the Woodstock First Nation. The "Cackling Duck" noise was attributed to a man who's remains were later found as they dug up basements for the first time under pre-existiong houses on the Woodstock First Nation reservation. The same man who had died, earlier on in his life, had be mentioned in a "Ripley's Believe it or Not Book", noted for beating a horse drawn wagon going from Woodstock to Fredricton and back again. Wolastoqiyik story told by Carole Polchies from Woodstock First Nation, New Brunswick. The Grasshopper and the Ants is the classic tale, but this version has a twist at the end where the Ants are kind to the Grasshopper and save him from the cold winter here in New Brunswick. The Grasshopper is lazy and plays his instrument all summer long as the Ants collect food to store for the winter. When winter comes Grasshopper has no food left and the Ants share their food and warm up his frozen legs so he can play his instrument once more. This story was passed down from Carole's Father, to both her and Deborah. An old lonely Owl dreams of having his own family. In his travels he comes upon a large skulk of foxes playing together. Owl thinks they are beautiful and he watches over them for many days and nights. He wishes he could have such a beautiful family. One Fox is different, she notices Owl and watches him. Owl flies down to meet her and showing off his charms, becomes a part of the skulk. Foxx and Owl fall in love, but their love is met with contention driving Foxx and Owl away to try to find happiness together.
