About Us
Moxy Fox Studio combines Traditional First Nations Art and Storytelling with contemporary design and digital mediums. Moxy Fox Studio was established in 2017, but Tara has been creating art and animation for more than 23 years. As the head of Moxy Fox Studio she uses storytelling to mix Wolastoqey Culture into our entertainment and media.
Moxy Fox Studio works with artists and talent from all over the world. Working in a virtual studio environment allows us to work with Indigenous people and travel to them so we can make sharing as easy as possible. It also allows us to hire amazing artists who get to work from their own locations on their own schedules.
Tara Audibert

Tara Audibert is a multidisciplinary artist & film maker with 20+yrs experience in animation, comics and fine art. She combines Traditional First Nations Art and Storytelling with contemporary design and digital mediums.
Award-winning works include animated short films I am the Warrior (2021), The Importance of Dreaming (2017), comics This Place: 150 Years Retold (2019), and Lost Innocence (2011) which has been placed in the Archives of Canada, Nitap: Legends of the First Nations a storytelling app. She worked in TV animation on Gemini award winning Olliver’s Adventures(2002-2005), Delilah & Julius (2005-2008), Johnny Test (2009) and is the creator/writer/director of Lil Glooscap and the Legends of Turtle Island (2022).
Books include Jo Jo Makoons: Fancy Pants (2022), award winning Jo Jo Makoons: And the Used-To-Be Best Friend (2021), Fiddleheads for Fox (2019) and Moonbeam (2020). She is of hybrid Wolastoqey-French heritage residing in Sunny Corner, NB.
